About Me

Ever since I was a kid, I had an eye for Design. I am the type of girl who steps into a room, no matter where it is and can find areas that need improvement. Every season is a good reason to reorganize, decorate or completely re-design a room or closet. Living in Manhattan can be very expensive so I make sure every sqauare foot is utilized to its capacity. This isnt just a hobby of mine, I have worked in the Home Remodeling business for many years as a Designer, Project Planner and Buildings department expeditor. I went from hiring the contractor to being the contractor. I have taken courses in Interior Design at FIT in NYC and I have been chosen to design homes for high end media staff of (HBO and ABC) just to name a few, even down to even the average school teacher. I have a philopshy that your space should reflect your personality and lifestyle. I like to get to know my clients personally, things like; what their favorite color is, type of music they listen to, what their area of work is and this is the method I use in order to deliver results that exceed their expectations.

Home for the Holidays

As the Holidays are approaching, if we havent already started decorating; its best we do. I found some pretty interesting items while I was out today and believe it or not, they were all at least $10 and under.

Teardrop Wreath is not uncommon but for some it may appear to be unusual. It is intended to be dressed the same way we would a circular wreath  and makes a very nice accent decoration to the home for the chiristmas holiday.

If you have a girl-y girl who knows what she wants and loves animal print, this is sure to put a smile on her face. It's small and cute but also comes in a variety of prints such as Zebra, Cow & our all time favorite Cheetah!  Rrroooarrr

I'm a candle lover, when all the lights are out, a little scented candle burning, glass of wine and some holiday music; puts me in the holiday spirit. This is a trio of lanterns retails about $9.00 and can hang from a ceiling when properly attached.

When I walk in to a home on the holidays, I like feel the festive-ness. This entryway mat is nice and the quality wasnt so bad either. I would give it two christmas's and after that; replace it but for the price its a definitely for purchase today.

Dressing the table is an all time American Tradition. When you add napkin rings to your bautifully dressed table, your guests will know that you have class.

I couldnt believe my eyes when I saw these chair covers in a variety of festive colors. The quality was pretty good and when the bow was tied properly, it was the finishing touch of a well dressed dining room.

Stocking Stuffers are awesome, especially when you allow children to cheat before christmas day. Get rid of the coasters and random household items you normally use and hang stocking and try these stocking holders. They are made of metal and they also come in a wide range of styles.

Red isnt my favorite color but I can definitely add some spice to a room. I found this wood crafted Wreath that is carved into red roses, Yes I said it wood. I would  assume the  wood is a MDF particle board type but hey,  it's just for Decor

If you family size is enormous and you dont have the time for long dress-up's. I would suggest you try a decorative table runner. This one is of white silvery snowflake's and is made of vynl.

When you celebrate the holidays every year at home and when that time comes you are constantly lookin for new ways to decorate; something like a monogram stocking is an item you can get for everyone and use them for years to come.

Accents such as placements are essential and I found this one for $5ea. See how it has a soft but warm blend of colors. Feel free to pop some red or green China on top of this and I guarantee you would love the outcome.

The colors red, green & yellow are all associated with Thanksgiving & Christmas. Why not try adding some faux flowers in a glass vase to show that you have the holiday spirit.
